ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Vivekanand Jha is a well-known author, academician and a public intellectual. He has taught at various management colleges in Delhi and Mumbai. His current book, The Making of Narendra Modi, Unmaking of Jawaharlal, is the revised edition of the pioneer book with the same title published soon after the abrogation of Article 370 of Indian Constitution. With the verdict of the apex court vindicating the decision of the Modi government, the very title of the book too stands corroborated. This apart, the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi verdict delivered in favour of the reconstruction of the Ram Lalla temple, and the fact that Narendra Modi was the “Ejamaan” at Ram Lalla’s Prana Prathishta ceremony, lends further credence to the fact that the Modi era has arrived, bidding goodbye to Nehruvian Secularism that held visiting temples as taboo, leave alone inaugurating the same.

Moreover, his recent book, Sanatani Rama, is based on the life of Sanatani Rama, the founder-publisher of Pilgrims. This book was launched on 22nd of January, 2024, in Kathmandu, on the same day as the consecration ceremony at Ayodhya. Significantly, in this book, effort is made to showcase the glory of Sanatan Dharma through the life of Sanatani Rama.

Vivekanand Jha’s other well-known book is The Bimbette, portraying the life of Mithila and the metropolis, Calcutta. His other books include Narendra Damodardas Modi: No More Apologist, launched in the month of August, 2023, on magic realism and The People’s Leader, The Making of Narendra Modi, Unmaking of Jawaharlal, 56 Inches, The Living Legends of Mithila, and its Hindi Version, Mithila Kay Adhunik Diggaj, Yes, I am Bihari, and its Hindi version, Han, Main Bihari Hoon, Delhi Beckons: RaGa for NaMo, When Thousand Lotus Bloom.

Vivekanand Jha was facilitated on the occasion of Bihar Diwas 2018 for bringing glory to Bihar at the global forum. Yes, I am Bihari is a globally recognized book and was listed as a best seller. Yes, I can Achieve, was his first book, which he wrote in the year 2011. Vivekanand Jha conducts an online program to educate the nation—Education pe Charcha, which has already completed its 100th Session—the only program on social networking sites to have completed its 100th live session. He has also launched two albums: Saugandh mujhe Maa Ganga ki and Han, main aek Bihari Hoon. Being a well-known political columnist, he has authored thousands of columns for Central Chronicle and news portals like Globalbihari and Himalini.
